What you can expect?

For your comfort and enjoyment we offer:

Cycling: The lowly frequented forest roads and paths in our surroundings are a cyclist paradise. There is a huge network of makred ways for bikes: In Lhotka there is a crossing of way 5124 coming from Moravské Budějovice on the top of Javořice and the way 5021 from Kostelní Myslová towards Roštejn castle. A way called Březina's path (n. 5125) from Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou to Kamenice nad Lipou pass through Řásná and in Mrákotín a way 1113 from Telč to Jindřichův Hradec pass through.
Guests can park their bicycles in our shed. It is also possible to arrange rented bikes.

Swimming: In summer you can swim in ponds with pure water, especially in Horní Mrzatec (nice swimming was in Dolní Mrzatec as well, but last summer the water was soon dirty. For those people who prefer a smaller pond (0.2 hectares) to swim in, there is our own pond Bonifác. In the surroundings there are still more ponds for swimming: the lake Svatojánský between Lhotka and Řásná, the ponds Velký Pařezitý Rybník and Plodový near Rásná, the pond Malý Pařezitý Rybník near Řídelov and the lake Roštejn near Telč. For those who prefer a swimming pool there is a nice outdoor pool in Janštejn /12km/. There are some flooded quarries in our neighbourhood (Horní Cerekev 18 km, Čenkov 13 km, Sumrakov 7 km).

Is there a big group of you? Do you dare to eat a ram?: You can cook one of our own reared rams in our outdoor barbecue. Complete price for preparation is CZK 3,000. For those people, with smaller appetites, chicken, fish or pork steaks from well-tried butcher could be prepared. If you are interested in this please reserve beforehand. It is not possible to prepare it in one day. On details we will certainly agree.
Fishing: Free fishing in our small lake (suitable for children, we can lend you a fishing rod) For a charge in Telč - The lakes Roštejn (details) and Staroměstský. Owners of a fishing permit can fish in two lakes in Krahulčí (5km). Permits can be obtained in the bookshop of Mr. Ziba in Telč (during working hours). For a charge in Řásná- the lake Plodový- you pay either for time or for a fish - it depends on the weight of fish.
Hunting: According to your wishes, the season, the weather and several other factors, it is possible to take part in a hunt or to undertake individual hunting actions. If you are interested in this we will inform you about details - our grandfather is an active hunter.

Cross country skiing: The possibilities for winter sports in our region are not yet known by tourists. This offers unique possibilities to sportsmen, who appreciate solitude in the woods and virginal snow. Nevertheless, from this year on there are some professionally maintained tracks in our neighbourhood.

The ski lift: The neighbouring village Mrákotín has a ski lift. We admit that the piste does not resemble a red-marked Alpine piste, but with only little queueing and low prices it is a nice occasion for beginners or for families wanting to have a good day together.

Do you play the golf?: There is a unigue opportunity. In Vanov (3 km distant villige) there is a 70-hectar area where is a 18-hole golf course built according to international parameters. Complete course was opened in May 2006. (Details).
Do you want to play tennis?: It is possible to book a court in Mrákotín (3 km) (in the summer holiday for a charge, in other period of year it depends on agreements). Other courts are in Telč, Kostelní Myslová, Krahulčí.
Football, volleyball: Recently we have finished the work on a small football field. This year (2007) we intend to construct a volleyball court.

Other sports: There is enough space for all other kinds of sports, as badminton, jeu-de-boules, croquet. There is a table tennis as well. We are able to lend you the necessary attributes.

When it is raining …: ...you can use our small library, playing cards and other indoor games including table football. In neighbouring Vanov in Šiškův mlýn there is a bowling and in Knínice and Dačice you can play skittles. (The specialists know what is the diference between them :-))
Touch the rocks!: You can try to climb some of the rocks in the surroundings of Lhotka.

We have no cattle, but...: the pension makes part of the farm, so you may refresh your memory and like a child enjoy the view on a flock of sheep at the opposite side of the valley, follow the work of the bees or show your own children how to manually turn the hay properly. Fearless individuals can help with drawing honey or with work with the sheep. The others need not to worry - the animals are thoroughly seperated from the campsite.

Fruits from the woods: Lhotka is surrounded by meadows and forests. It provides excellent opportunities for picking strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and mushrooms. But beware of fruitfull years... people with a weaker character happen to spend their whole holiday on picking, cleaning and preserving fruits. In Czech republic, especially mushrooms are popular. Do not expect me to reveal our most favourite locations. According to the tradition everybody should find his own secret sources. And please remember, that we consider it very unsporting to offer our children chocolate for tips!

For workaholics: For those who need to remain in contact with their firm even during holidays, we have telephone, fax and internet (WiFi is available in whole area and in some of the rooms there is a socket). Czech networks for mobile telephones: Oskar (Vodafone) and Eurotel (O2) reaches our farm easily, T-mobile functions just outside the village.
